Fascia Training in Summer – As Supple as the Warm Season
Did you know that warmth is a real superpower for your fascia? In summer, our tissues are naturally more elastic and receptive to deep release. This is the perfect time to dissolve stubborn adhesions and experience the full range of your body's mobility.

Heat, hydration & fascia: High temperatures and sweating alter the water balance of connective tissue. Well-hydrated fascia stays supple – making it all the more important to drink enough water in summer. Regular fascia training combined with good hydration is especially effective in warm weather for relieving neck and back tension.
Use the summer energy to liberate your body from within. Less stress, more movement and the healing power of warmth – that is natural fascia therapy at its finest.

Hatha Yoga in June – Awakening, Feeling the Sun, Blossoming
Summer is the season of awakening. Nature is in full bloom, the days are long and the light is powerful and golden. We too are invited to awaken in this season – to listen deeply within, absorb the energy of the sun and revitalise both body and mind in harmony with nature's own rhythm.
Traditional Hatha Yoga is especially potent in summer: the asanas open the chest and shoulders, strengthen the spine and charge body and soul with solar energy. The long evenings invite us to rest in stillness, reflect and breathe in deep gratitude – for life, for health and for this magnificent season.

Feel the energy of summer in every movement. In June we dedicate ourselves to heart-opening sequences, strengthening the back muscles and breathing exercises that activate life energy (Prana). Yoga in summer is like a sunbath for the soul – vitalising, liberating and centring all at once.

Gazpacho – Chilled Summer Soup from the Spanish Sun
Ingredients for 4 servings
- 6 ripe tomatoes, diced
- 1 red pepper, deseeded & roughly chopped
- 1 small cucumber, peeled & diced
- 1 small red onion, roughly chopped
- 2 garlic cloves
- 3 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 2 tbsp sherry vinegar (or red wine vinegar)
- Salt, pepper, fresh basil
- Ice cubes to serve
Method
- Roughly chop all vegetables and blend together with garlic, olive oil and vinegar until smooth.
- Season generously with salt and pepper.
- Refrigerate for at least 2 hours – overnight is even better.
- Serve ice-cold, garnished with fresh basil and a drizzle of olive oil. 🌿
Tip: Serve with toasted baguette and hummus for a complete light summer meal – perfect after training!
